Prepress:

Whether or not you request a proof, all supplied artwork files undertake our rigorous 10 point file check free of charge to ensure your printed job turns out exactly as you intend. Files are automatically imposed ready for printing in the most effective way to minimise waste. 

Material:

Flexpress gift tags are printed on your choice of a substantial 400gsm premium, environmentally friendly 'A' grade, triple coated or uncoated board which offers excellent properties for colour reproduction and holds fine detail well.

High Definition Printing:

All our gift tags are printed individually using HP Indigo offset technology. You won't receive any products printed on beefed-up photocopiers from us - another reason we back everything with ;our total satisfaction guarantee.

Laminate:

Laminating adds a thin protective layer of plastic to the surface of the tag giving it a delightful texture whilst adding durability. Choose from a high-gloss laminate, a deliciously silky smooth matt laminate or the velvety peach-like texture of luxurious soft-touch laminate. 

Spot UV:

Flexpress were the first in the UK to install the Duplo Dusense - a digital spot UV gloss embellishment system that adds a super-glossy, slightly raised, polymer highlight to selected areas of your gift tag. This is ideal for highlighting pictures or logos, or simply for adding a dramatic finish, or texture that instantly demands attention. The spot UV is laid on top of your choice of laminate for even greater contrast.

Metallic Foil:

Traditionally, expensive setup costs have made metallic hot-foil printing too expensive for most; particularly on jobs printed in lower volumes, but now we can offer metallic hot-foil printing to everyone using our amazing hot-foil transfer process. This system allows intricate detail to be foil printed accurately, in an array of colours, just like traditional foil printing but without the initial expense.

Precision Finishing:

Gift tags are generally trimmed to size using our Duplo DC646 automated cutting machine - accurate to just 0.2mm. This ensures that even tags with tight borders are cut accurately.

All orders are dispatched by reputable national carriers on a next working day service. This will usually arrive by 5pm although please be aware once goods have left our premises we have no influence on when they are delivered. If you would like to upgrade to an AM or Saturday delivery, you can do this at check-out at an additional cost.

File Copies:

By selecting this option, the quantity of file copies requested will be packaged and dispatched to you separately to the rest of the order. They will be sent to your main address, by Royal Mail 1st Class, irrespective of where the remainder of the order is being sent. If you do not require this service and are happy to receive file copies as part of the main order simply add the quantity you require to the order and then separate them yourself on receipt.
